Justin Timberlake Cancels His Concert Due To An Injury

When Justin Timberlake had to abruptly cancel a gig on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, he delivered a letter to his fans.

On Tuesday, October 8, Timberlake, 43, posted on Instagram, saying, "I'm so sorry to postpone tonight's show." "I'm unable to perform because of an injury."

Timberlake stated that he hopes to reschedule the performance. He wrote, "I'm so sorry not to see you all, but I'm working to reschedule ASAP." "I swear to make it right and give you all the show you deserve."

In closing, Timberlake thanked his followers for their compassion. “Thank you guys for understanding. Thank you for your unwavering support, he said, signing the letter "JT."

On Tuesday, Timberlake was scheduled to perform in Newark, New Jersey. The night before the postponement, Timberlake performed at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. A few days prior, Timberlake stopped in Montreal on the eve of his and wife Jessica Biel's 12-year wedding anniversary.

He posted a video homage to Biel, 42, that included snippets from his most recent performance, including his on-stage greeting. "This evening holds great significance for me as well. "Tonight is our 12-year anniversary, and my wife is here," he remarked to the applause of the Centre Bell Arena crowd.

When Timberlake blew Biel a kiss, she immediately returned the favor. He said, "Be kind to her, Montreal, since she's sharing with all of you guys tonight." (The couple wed in 2012 and has two children together, Silas, age 9, and Phineas, age 4).

Timberlake had issued an apology one month earlier for his arrest for DUI earlier in the summer. (Us Weekly verified in June that Timberlake was detained for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons. After being taken into police custody, he was charged. After being booked with one count of DWI and two traffic infractions, he was eventually freed without posting bail.)

During a September press conference, Timberlake stated, "As you may know, I try to hold myself to a very high standard for myself. Many of you have been covering me for a lot of my life." That was not this. I've had some time to think about the situation when I could have chosen a different course of action.

"To everyone watching and listening, I would like to say this: even if you have had one drink, never get behind the wheel of a car." he said. There are tons of options: you can take a taxi, phone a friend, use an Uber, or use one of the many travel apps. Although I made this error, I hope that whoever is currently watching and listening can take anything constructive away from it.

Timerblake accepted a plea agreement and a reduced charge of moving offense. He will have to pay a $500 fine, perform 25 to 40 hours of community service with a nonprofit, and make a public safety message.
